"Golden Eagle Festival & Authentic Eagle Hunting in Western Mongolia"

Day 01 (October 03): Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. You will be welcomed by the Eagle Sky Tour Company at UB airport. Transfer to the hotel in UB and check in. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a restaurant featuring Mongolian national cuisine. After dinner, return to the hotel. (D)

Day 02 (October 04): Fly to UB-Olgii. Upon arrival in Ulgii, the staff of Eagle Sky Tour Company will welcome you and assist with check-in at a hotel or home in Ulgii. Attend a Kazakh family concert, visit the local black market, and stay overnight at a hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 03 (October 05): The Eagle Festival kicks off with the opening ceremony. After the festival, watch the Festival concert at the local theater. Enjoy dinner and stay at the hotel. Eagle Sky Tour Company provides a unique opportunity to rest at an eagle holiday home (Ger, meaning a nomad's tent), where you can warm up and enjoy tea and coffee at your leisure. This exclusive experience is available only to tourists of Eagle Sky Tour Company, and lunch is served at these homes. (B, L, D)

Day 04 (October 06): Continue with the eagle events, and the festival will conclude with closing activities. Overnight at the hotel in Ulgii. (B, L, D)

Day 05 (October 07): Travel to Altantsogts village for the next two days. Experience real eagle hunting with other eagle hunters. Arrive at the Kazakh eagle ranger's place in Altantsogts village. Get acquainted with the nomadic culture, interact with local people and fellow travelers, and take photos with the eagle hunters in the forest. Taste Besbarmak, the Kazakh national dish, and spend the night at a Kazakh house. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire and dancing. (B, L, D)

Day 6 (October 08): Embark on your real hunting adventure on horseback. Visit a family of Kazakh eagle hunters, listen to the Kazakh slogan, and overnight in Kazakh yurts. (B, L, D)

Day 07 (October 09): Have breakfast, bid farewell to the hosts, and return to Ulgii. Stop at the cradle, have lunch, go shopping, dine at a local restaurant, and stay in a hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 08 (October 10): Fly from Ulgii to UB. The team of Eagle Sky Tour Company will welcome you back in UB and escort you to the hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 09 (October 11): The team will pick you up from your hotel and assist with your departure. (B)

Note: The domestic ticket schedule, considered the summer flight schedule, will be announced at the end of March. It is crucial to book domestic return tickets for October during the festival as soon as the flight schedule is released. Domestic airlines charge at least double the price during the festival, and local hotels triple their prices. This makes the trip relatively expensive.

Weather: In October, temperatures range from -2 to -10 degrees at night and +5-10 degrees during the day in the Bayan-Olg region. Warmer clothes are recommended.
